![]() I rotate them through to extend the lifespan of the elastic. Either 2 or 3 are kept filled and the rest are empty. I got some 6-shell cards on amazon, 4 for $18, I got a total of 8 of them. The brand name shotgun cards cost way, way too much IMO. But when a card gets empty, you just rip it off and slap another one on. Shotgun cards are way better than rigid shell holders, because once rigid holders are empty, well, they're empty. The main thing I got is some shotgun cards. ![]() And when I got tired of my shoulder being sore, I got a Limbsaver. I got a decent-but-not-expensive 2-point strap. Here's what I got for my Mossberg 500 (same basic gun as yours): I got an orange Big Dot sight for the muzzle end. You're probably better off just buying ammo to practice with. But don't fool yourself about what you're doing. Now, if you're just dying to spend money on stuff to put on your new toy, well, that's different. It doesn't need anything (except a cleaning kit and supplies). There aren't any "must have" accessories for shotguns.
